Boone REMC Annual Meeting March 13

The 2010 Boone REMC Annual Meeting will be held on Saturday, March 13, in the Witham Health Services Pavilion at the Boone County 4-H Fairgrounds in Lebanon. Click here for a map.

Registration begins at 9 a.m. The business meeting starts at 10 a.m. and ends at 12 noon. Free refreshments will be served.

More Prizes this Year!

Door prizes will include a Grand Prize drawing for $500 cash, plus two $250 cash prizes, five $100 cash prizes and ten $50 cash drawings! You must be present to win all prizes.

As a cost-cutting measure, Boone REMC is no longer mailing annual report booklets that contain a registration card. We are now mailing a stand-alone registration postcard to each customer. Keep your eye on the mail for your official registration postcard.

Please bring your registration postcard to the meeting. If you do not receive a registration postcard, or if you misplace your postcard ... please come to the meeting. We can collect your registration information on site.

Financial reports and 2009 meeting minutes will be distributed at the meeting.

Board seats for districts 7, 8 and 9 are up for election this year. Directors serve three-year terms. You must be registered and present to vote.

The 2010 director candidates are: District 7, Bruce Guernsey; District 8, Jerry Abbott; District 9, Noel Kendall.

Any eligible Boone REMC customer may become a candidate by completing a nomination petition. The deadline for filing a petition is February 11th. Please contact our office for more information about the candidate petition process.
