Boone REMC Youth Programs

Boone REMC offers two youth programs each year for local students— Co-op Youth Tour and Touchstone Energy Camp. The deadline for submitting applications for our 2012 youth programs is March 14.

Applications can also be dropped off at the Boone REMC office located at 1207 Indianapolis Ave. in Lebanon.


Co-op Youth Tour

Co-op Youth Tour features an all-expenses-paid trip to Washington, D.C in June. Participants tour historic sites and monuments in and around our nation’s capital.

The dates for Youth Tour are June 13 - 21.

To be eligible, applicants must be the son, daughter or legal ward of a current Boone REMC customer. Applicants must be completing their junior year of high school with plans to be enrolled for their senior year.

Touchstone Energy Camp

Boone REMC also offers a summer camp program called Touchstone Energy Camp. This program, designed for 6th grade students, offers an opportunity to spend three days at Camp Tecumseh near Lafayette.

The dates for Touchstone Energy Camp are June 6 - 9.

Boone REMC pays the camp fees for two students. Applicants do not have to be the children of Boone REMC customers.
