Indiana Electric Cooperative Page Day

Tour the statehouse and governor’s office, meet legislators, observe General Assembly sessions.

Eligibility: High school students

Dates of Program: Jan. 31; Feb. 7

Application Deadline: One week prior to date of program

 

Touchstone Energy Camp

Enjoy traditional summer camp activities such as canoeing and horseback riding, while learning about electrical safety, energy, and careers at electric co-ops.

Eligibility: Current sixth graders whose household receives electricity from Boone REMC

Dates of Program: June 6-9

Application Deadline: Feb. 23

 

Youth Tour to Washington, D.C.

This week-long trip of a lifetime includes visits to Gettysburg, Arlington National Cemetery, Smithsonian museums, a night cruise on the Potomac River, meeting legislators and learning about cooperatives.

Eligibility: Current high school juniors whose household receives electricity from Boone REMC

Dates of Program: June 7-14

Application Deadline: Feb. 23

 

Cooperative Calendar of Student Art

Enter this contest for the chance to be featured in a statewide calendar — now in its 21st edition. Winners receive cash prizes and are recognized at a reception.

Eligibility: Indiana K-12 students

Application Deadline: March 23

 

Annual Meeting Scholarships

Fifteen $500 scholarships will be awarded at the Boone REMC annual meeting at Lebanon High School.

Eligibility: Students who will be enrolled full-time in college in fall 2018; someone from the household must be present at the annual meeting

Application Deadline: March 10
