Lawson, Dull, and Gruninger renominated for 2020 election

The nominating committee has announced its 2020 director election results. Jerry Abbott, Committee Chairman, announced that the following candidates have been renominated for election for a three-year term.

 

  1. Daniel Lawson was nominated for District No. 1, which serves parts of Perry, Jackson, Sugar Creek and Washington Township. Lawson has served on the board of trustees for Boone REMC since 1994.

 

Thomas E. Dull was nominated for District No. 2, which serves parts of Jackson, Kirkland, Sugar Creek, Clinton, Marion, and Adams, Washington Township. Dull has served on the board of trustees for Boone REMC since 1999.

 

Mark Gruninger was nominated for District No. 3, which serves parts of Eagle and Clay Township. Gruninger has served on the board of trustees for Boone REMC since 2014.

 

Members may submit a nomination petition for election to the board. The petition must be signed by at least three percent of the members who reside in the director district up for election. The petition must be submitted 60 days prior to the March 7 annual meeting.
