Boone REMC responds to Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Boone REMC will suspend disconnection for nonpayment effective immediately. As a community advocate and essential service provider, we understand that this is an uncertain time and we want to support our members in any way we can. To be clear, payment is still due, but no one will be disconnected because of nonpayment at this time.

Our offices will be closed to the public until further notice starting Tuesday, March 17, 2020. Boone REMC provides an essential electric service to the communities it serves. Therefore, we have decided to close the office in Lebanon, Ind. until further notice due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19). The health of employees and members of Boone REMC are the first priority.

Members will be able to pay their electric bills through various other avenues:

  • Use the drop box on the west side of the office in Lebanon, IN
  • Pay on SmartHub (free app)
  • Pay on PayNow (through our website)
  • Pay by phone at 877-779-8583
  • Pay by MoneyGram
  • Pay by mail

Because this is an unprecedented event, we will continue to monitor our practices and procedures to ensure safety and the provision of an essential service. As more information becomes available, Boone REMC will update the website www.bremc.com and social media outlets. For additional questions, please call 1-800-897-7362.
