Boone REMC has three options for members to pay their electric bills online.
SmartHub is a secure Web and mobile app that allows you to make payments. It can be used both from mobile devices and computers. SmartHub also allows you to review your daily usage information, report an outage, view an outage map, and manage your account with your computer or mobile device. This is a good option for members who like the idea of consistently paying their electric bill online. You need your account number to sign up initially, but you’ll enter an email address and personal security code for future visits to the site. You can choose to keep a credit card or debit card number “on file” in SmartHub so you don’t have to re-enter it each month. That information is stored securely for your protection. Members who already had an eBill account will be able to log in to SmartHub using their same user ID and password. If you have not previously used Boone REMC’s online payment system, you can easily set up an account. To get started, click here. After you’ve set up an account with SmartHub, you can download the free app from the iTunes Store or Google Play Store on mobile devices.

The PayNow feature provides an online alternative to SmartHub. It does not require setting up a username and password. This is a good option for people who occasionally pay their electric bills online. No payment information is stored. Payments can be made with a credit card, debit card or electronic check. 3. Auto Pay
Auto Pay is a service that draws funds from your checking, savings or credit card account to pay your monthly electric bill. Visa, MasterCard, Discover and debit cards are accepted. The payment transaction is made on a monthly basis. This service is available to any member, including those enrolled in the budget billing plan. There is no charge for this service from Boone REMC. Members may sign up for Auto Pay using SmartHub. On mobile devices with the SmartHub app downloaded, simply go to “Bill & Pay” on the app’s home screen and then choose “Auto Pay.”
